I just don’t get Creationism. I know what it is. I just don’t understand why people still believe it.

Many years ago, when I was working as a lab technician in a microbiology lab, I worked with a microbiologist that insisted that there is no such thing as Evolution and that he didn’t believe in it. At the time, it seemed very strange, since we worked on many projects that demonstrated that Evolution is real. I still don’t get it.

This is not to say that we know everything that is possible to know. I’m sure that there are lots of things in the world/universe that we cannot see, detect or measure, and that we do not have the capacity to understand such things. We are only puny little humans, after all.

In any case, here is the latest news about the Evolution versus Creationism Debate. You may have seen or heard about this already. I heard about it on Public Radio, so I was pleased to see this for myself.
